Merry Mariner Planning Meeting and Dinner 04/06/2004

	Our April Planning meeting and Dinner was well attended, as are all our meetings.
	Thanks to all the wonderful cooks in the club, we had another feast that left everyone full and contented.
	The tables were full and gave us all a chance to chat with folks we don't get a chance to see often enough.
	I'm not certain what happened at Kenny's table. He certainly has enough wine to attract more people.
	It was fun to draw numbers and get a chance to talk with people and make new friends.
	We have plenty of time before we eat to tip a few glasses and get happy before the feeding frenzy starts.
	But sooner or later the business part of the meeting must start and Ali always makes it interesting.
	Ron Morgan has his first opportunity to give read the minutes of the last meeting, while the audience looks on with rapt attention.
	Then comes the part we all wait for.. the 50/50 drawing. Dee Seltzer won $25 and Betty Rogers has a crisp $20 bill she is very proud of winning.
	John Short is trying to hide the $15 before Ali has a chance to snag it. And here we go again, Lori Traiger is once again a winner and takes home $10.
This was another very enjoyable meeting. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it such a success. It is no wonder that we have such a large attendance at each of our events.
